My practice
Giftedness. Exceptionality. High IQ. These labels are consistently viewed as positive. But, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, depression, and difficulty reading or understanding social cues aren’t usually brought to mind when one thinks of intelligence. But often they exist in the same brain. We do not possess one singular identity or strength. We have an amalgamation of strengths and differences, and understanding these complexities can allow us to navigate our worlds. Often those who have profound talents remain misunderstood. And sometimes, there is so much emphasis into helping you fit in, that we lose sight of how extraordinary you are. My practice is for those with exceptional individuals. I work with gifted, 2E, and other neuro-divergent individuals across the lifespan. But, my practice isn’t only for gifted, it’s for those who recognize that while they may have some challenges, they also realize that there is something quite exceptional or extraordinary about themselves, and they are prepared to explore how these two (or three or five) parts of themselves can work in collaboration. I work across the lifespan becauseAt different stages of development, different strengths emerge but also different challenges. Being able to integrate your unique strengths is necessary in navigating these strengths, so that you may develop healthy relationships and utilize your talents in ways that bring you satisfaction.
